ROSY LONG DA (Grays School of Art)

Rosy Long’s work is inspired by cats.

In her mixed media paintings, she explores colour and texture, expressing ideas and emotions through the cats.

In her 3D papier maché cats made from recycled materials, she is exploring movement and texture with an added humorous quirk. She is now working 3D, in Ceramic Stoneware Paperclay .This material permits more movement in the subjects which are decorated using the acrylics from her paintings.
